5 Steps to a Thankful Heart

1. See the good in every person and every situation
  • Look at the all of the good things that surround a person, place, thing, or circumstance
2. No matter how you are feeling, no matter what the present circumstance-always look for the silver lining. (It's there!)
  • Seek comfort, hope, and joy in the midst of difficulties or stress
3. Make a habit out of maintaining a sense of optimism and joy!
  • Positive Outlook
4. Keep a list of what you are thankful for
  • daily journal of thankfulness
5. Speak your thanks out loud
  • a simple "Thank You" from a grateful heart can go a long way
